The MUFON Photo Analysis Team (PAT) Examines the Egg UFO Retrieval Video in a Comprehensive Analysis
Last week, Ross Coulthart, an Australian UFO expert and television personality, along with fledgling network News Nation, broke a significant whistle-blower story about a helicopter pilot named Jacob Barber who flew UFO crash retrieval missions for the U.S. Government and as a private contractor. MUFON’s PAT Provides Expert Analysis of the Video
Marc D’Antonio, lead photo and video expert on MUFON’s PAT, along with teammates Greg Cisko, Sam Maranto, Seth Feinstein, and Dennis Freyermuth, conducted an in-depth analysis of the video. (Source: [2] MUFON.com)
While the video has generated significant attention, the MUFON PAT raises several concerns about its authenticity.
“We want truth rather than a preconceived notion by whoever may be funding you or sending you their evidence,” notes D’Antonio. “As a free and open grassroots organization, we want to ensure that our analysis is unbiased and based on the available data.” (Source: [3] MUFON.com)
The PAT’s Analysis
Regarding the video, the team raises several questions about its legitimacy:
- Why was the object set down in a field rather than in a secure facility? (Source: [4] Dennis Freyermuth)
- Why were there no other vehicles or personnel present at the scene?
- Is it possible that the object was being transported by a unique large rock or radioactive/chemical material? (Source: [5] Dennis Freyermuth)
- The shadow on the video appears to be inconsistent with night vision footage, suggesting it may be a daylight recording. (Source: [6] Greg Cisko)
The MUFON PAT’s conclusions
While the team acknowledges that Barber’s story has been vetted by multiple agencies and former co-workers, they also emphasize that they are not experts in the field.
“We do our best to provide an objective analysis based on the available data,” notes D’Antonio. “However, we also recognize that our findings may be subject to interpretation.” (Source: [7] MUFON.com)
The final say
Ultimately, it is up to the viewer to decide what they believe about the video and its authenticity.
