Recently it was reported by researcher Jeffrey Lewis, that China has expanded its nuclear arsenal in the western desert regions of the country. Should we be concerned?
Maybe so. The silos will most likely be housing the upgraded Dongfeng-41 intercontinental strategic nuclear missiles. The Dongfeng-41 has a range of about 15000 kilometers (9600 miles).
To date it is believed that China has around 300+ intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) .
But who’s counting?
